I've finally gotten round to reading the whole thing and it is bloody fantastic! I love the fact that the relationship is so not happily-ever-after. Lara's vitality really comes through too.

*blush* Thank you! I saw this as an opportunity to try to trace the arc of a reasonably realisitic relationship through its ups and downs. I like Lara, too, as a character.

kahvi told me you had written these when she asked about my Hillary fic, so I came over to read them. These are great little stories; I really like how the focus is on the three's day-to-day interactions and doing their jobs, not necessarily on the relationship itself (even though that is smashing as well).

But out of a whole bunch of great lines, this is the one that had me laughing out loud at 4 a.m.: A red car was pulling up. Hillary would doubtless know the make, model, year, and history, maybe the sexual preference of the manufacturer, but Bryce did not give a good shit. - It's just more or less become fanon-canon in any CB story that the character is going to know this stuff, hasn't it? HEE.
